Painting Stock wheels?

has anyone painted over there aluminum stock x wheels from 95-99? i have a crazy idea but i dont know if anyone else has done it!!

I was also wondering this same thing. Can you powdercoat or paint over the top of polished or machined alluminum? I'm guessing it would be pricey? I'd like to paint mine the gun metal grey -- similar to some of the stock Xterras. I think that would look good with all the other grey trim on an XLS. It would probably be cheaper to buy a set of steel wagon wheels, and have them painted...

yeah i was think the same thing but paint the wheels black. i wanted to get sugestions first before i start painting the wheel.

The Modern Image Eclipse powder coated the rism so they are black.
