It was a reference to the fact that my 91 still has that thrown rod. If i had something running id gladly be of any asistance to anyone else i can. what i was saying is that if we hitch it up to someone else like a trailer id have a few open seats

Draper, you definitely coming to this? I like it better when you guide anyway Although... I've been to paragon how many times now...? Maybe I should take the damn class already and give guiding a shot (zip it about getting us lost across the street that one time, I was tired!).

Parli, we'll be meeting at the same place we always do- the Exxon station. Hopefully Red Ridge will be clear of any potential hazards to my health that weekend, otherwise I'm all for camping at one of the local spots (Rookie knows where I'm talking about- I'm sure we'll get with everybody on the details as the ruin draws closer).

Does this count Chris, Rookie and Marci outta the trip? From the latest I heard I thought you basically needed a guide to get into the place now. In any case, if they are out it dosent look like linds will get her swap done that weekend then, so could we consider moving it to the weekend after? I just want to see the green can o' tuna get SAS'ed Speaking of which, are you driving it all the way up and back?

And I swear by all that is good, unless my truck is in pieces (and maybe even if it is), I will be there.

As for Red Ridge, well cheaper is better and the local spots are the best (I hear, and safer for some of us), so as long as I have a place to park the 250 and trailer Ill sleep anywhere.

Rookie said he'd go as long as he has something of his own to wheel, so I GOTTA get the Zuki up to him asap. I imagine Marcy would rather be wheeling than walking around looking at shiny pavement queens, but I'm just guessing...

I'm waiting to hear back on some potential moneytomorrow. If things go as I hope, I'll be able to get everything to do my swap and I can have Morgan up to Hazleton in two weeks or less *crosses fingers* to do the work (not like I'm not making it easy for Rookie- the whole front suspension and fenders will be out of the truck and the rear will already be sprung over ). I'd love to do it on Aug 5/6th, so I could maybe bug Draper for some rock sliders the weekend after but everything's up in the air right now. Hang tight.

some of us (marcy, me) preregistered for the 4x4 show and made plans to be there.... I was talking to mike today about the paragon run and Im probably only going for one day to the 4x4 show, so if paragon isnt the day im going Id be in for a run...

why do these things have to be planned exactly for the same weekend of a major 4x4 show?

thats mine, and thats getting some new goodies within the next 2 weeks.... it'll probably be with me at the 4x4 show and then im gonna wheel it at paragon.

I am going to look into the guide class thing, I havent been through it either. That may and may not matter. I will call Marcy but doubt he will want to commit to it, I do believe he wants to go to bloomsburgh.

That being said I have 3, yes THREE trucks to build between now and then, none of which are even here yet.
Eric the jew is bringing me a heep friday that started out as a lift kit and got wayyy more indepth since then. If I want something to wheel I gotta work onh the sammi that isnt here yet, It needs a headgasket and is currently 100% STOCK. Fortunately I have a fair amount of stuff gathered already for it. Spas needs a SAS done by then. She is saving about 3 hours by having some of it apart and the SOA done, I do apreciate that but will have plenty work left to do on it.

Now add to that list that today we found that Skunks stealth needs a new crank, so gotta pull the engine on that, they are far from simple on that car.

All in all I dont really see the sammi being done, there is a chance but not a good one. Skunk is talking about building the sidekick in the begining of august also, thats getting more work than pretty much any of the rest.

So depending on all of this some how miraculously getting done will depend on if I have something to drive. I do have the quad and can run with the trucks, so that may end up being the result. Of course this is all IF 3 or more trucks do come through. History has shown that is a rareity. WHy not try to change that?

Ok, so my plan for a small loan didn't work and I'm very seriously considering selling Shelby just to get this farkin swap done (Coworker's still interested in her, but I'm sure he'll be just as happy to be paid cash to do Jack's swap. I can live with only one working truck for a while ). Anybody think a grand is too much to ask for a used and abused 1st gen??

are you keepin the bfg's with her if so, id ask for 1300-1500, nothing wrong with asking. If you dont get any bites, drop it down some. Ditto on the craiglist however, or egay if you really want it gone. But really you have no reason to keep her with morgan so close to completion.
