Hey,

I was wondering what everyone thinks about this. Does anyone think it will look cool with perrys front end conversion on a truck that does not yet have a lift? I really want to convert it but I dont know if it will look ok or if people will just downright laugh. Thanx.

What size tires are you running?

Oh yeah, welcome to the site. If you are running 31's , then it would look pretty good. If you are running 225/70R/15's, then it might look pretty lame.

I'm sure no one would laugh...they might look at it and wonder why it's got such big fenders, but other than that, I bet most people couldn't even tell it was a 92 converted to look like a 95+... However, if you're running stock tires, they aren't gonna fill up that fender, which will look kinda funny. But hell, I say go for it if it's what you want to do... Then when you do decide to lift it, you'll be able to fit bigger tires on there...

What is the biggest tire that I can fit on a 15 inch rim with stock suspension with out rubbing?

Okay check this out, I just bought some AutoFab fenders for my 88 BII. They have a 3" buldge and the wheel well is HUGE compared to stock. I did this because without them to fit 33" tires I would have to cut my fenders and my fenders already suck (19$ certifit). With the 33's on there it will look great! With the 31's it will look so/so. I plan to only bolt up the 33's when I am going off road so daily I will be driving it around with 31's.

People will probably think it looks silly, especially my fiance who just doesnt understand this stuff, but guess what, I'm the only one who has an opinion that counts!!!

I think it would look sweet and I say go for it! Plus down the road you can always add bigger tires without worrying about getting them to clear. I believe witht eh Perry's fenders you can stuff 33's on a stock Explorer no problem.
