Any input? Any experience? They are housed in the same size case as the PIAA 980's so I imagine it would be a good alternative to the stock ones. What do you all think?

my friend used to have these but he ended up selling them and buying the hella light that has driving and fog in one. he said its just as good and $250 less

Are you sure he had the P3000's? I was under the impression that they were new on the market. As for the Hellas which ones were they? If he saved $250.00 combo Hellas for $50.00 is a great price.

there is someone on the board with P3000's, can't remember who though. I think they look pretty good. Regarding Hellas, you can get something that does about the same for much less price, but it won't be nearly the quality.

Sorry man but I'm calling BS on that one... I used to have some hella 500's... They were on a safari bar on my truck, they were bright I'll give them that... But I got rid of them and put some PIAA 510's on my truck, they're half the size, same wattage I believe, and they're MUCH MUCH MUCH brighter than those hella's could have ever thought of being...

No I'm just going on personal experience here, I don't have any scientific knowledge on this, but the eyes in the dark test sure made me fell better about the PIAA purchase!!!
