The intake is made out of

All parts Spectre except ebay parts. All bought from Pepboys
1x 22 degree elbow
1x 45 degree elbow
2x 3" red couplings
1x Hose Fitting Kit
Ebay MAF adapter
Ebay 3" Filter

Total cost was $70.26. Works great. All I had to do was build the filter mount. Everything clears great! Sounds good.

The Y pipe ive had for a while. I just recently header wrapped it and sprayed it with black high temp silicone spray to keep out water. Let me know what you thinK!

any real difference from stock? or from just filter and maf adapter

Honestly, the biggest diff was the filter and maf adapter. I was hoping for a smoother air flow from the pipe, resulting in more power. The only real thing I noticed was it was louder

cool thanks!!

This will look awesome in my ex:thumbsup:

sounds good! good luck! BTW, you can buy the MAF adapter and filter at pep boys too. I had bought the pepboys spectre MAF adapter in the past to put on a friends truck. You just have to drill new holes. This is the one I bought. The reason I used ebay is because I already had those parts laying around when I had the KKM clone intake

Good thing I have a pep-boys right around the corner from my house.

Besides the sound and a little better gas mileage I don't think there are any other performance changes....maybe a little hp gain.

Good job and thanks again!:salute:

i have the ebay version of the kkm and the thing i noticed the most is the sound their was a little throttle response difference but that could have been my mind from the sound lol

Yeah, I had the ebay version of the KKM installed prior to doing the whole thing. That's really where I noticed most of the power. The tube was just to finish off the project.

That is probably for his electic fan.

Correct. It's for the black magic 150 electric fan Im running. It has plate-clamps on the bottom and top to hold the fan to the radiator

looks awesome
