Piece of Junk

Got my Ex back last night and was told it is sorta fixed. The Nav will most of the time take a short address like 123 Elm Street, but not a long address or one in which the street is a number like 2525 34th Ave. It just will not recognize numbers then numbers again. The tech had a new 2013 on the lot and he experienced the same issues with that one also. So he is going to be talking to some tech big shot from Ford to see if there is a fix. I have yet to try out the other things to see if they work properly, so stay tuned.

I can confirm this with mine... I can say 123 washing hill road and it will work. However I tired a reataurant that was

407 New Hampshire Highway 286. It would not find it no matter what I tried.. that extra nunber at the end I think is a limitation to the nav. I have tried both 2.11 and the new version I have and neither can do it.

Wow. That's a pretty large oversight. Does it work if you type it in?

Apparently free speech doesn't exist, and the world can only be comprised of lollypops and rainbows.

The first amendment only applies to the government - not private parties. You have no right of free speech on these boards. It's their forum - and it's their rules - if you don't like it, don't post.

:D

Can we return our focus back onto the OP's post please?

If you type in the numbers the Nav works. As a follow up to the repairs. First day everything seems to be much better. The system is quicker and seems to be working. The only issue is the address with a street number. I guess the next update will need to include a fix for this.

Day 2 after the fix and the voice commands and other things are working just fine. I am starting to get a little excited. I am not seeing any of the bugs that I had previously experienced. Yeah!

Cool! Glad things seem to be coming around for ya :)
