Pismo on August 12th & 13th.

Sweet. ive never been to pismo, and am curious about the group going. All ive really heard is people going to jump off the dunes? are there some whoop sections, or areas to go on decent legnth mid-high speed runs without "duning". also, how about for some of these slow crawler guys whom are interested?

The whole beach area is a whoops section. I was there last weekend in my Mountaineer and topped out at about 4 mph because the whoops were so.. whoopsie. You'll be set up awesome for pretty much the whole area.

Sand highway has parts that can bee fun for you (long stretches) with some whoops. There are usually whoops at the bottom of the "big" climbs too.

I've never been there before but i've heard it can get crowded and reservations are a good idea, anyone have info on that?

It shouldn't be very crowded that weekend. It's usually just the holiday weekends that get busy.

well my truck is not even anywhere near dialed in or finished, or even running the correct hoops for that matter. but screw it im gonna go. i got a tow rig, a flat bed and a toy so it dont matter if it breaks. i just wanna go hang out with every one and see every ones rigs. ill plan on going if funds allow.

I'm new to this forum, just got my 01 sport trac 2 weeks ago, but I live 15 minutes away from pismo; you can count me in for the 13th (working all day on the 12th).

Depending on how early you leave, I could swing by HB and then caravan up with you if ya want.

whoa thats a long way for a 2 day trip (a third of it driving). but im still up for it. ive never been there so just let me know where and when every one is meeting...
