My apologies if any of this has been posted elsewhere.
I figured maybe starting a thread on anything which might be a potential problem in the future.
I am coming off of a 2013 Explorer and so far, these 2 things caught my attention based off of previous experiences.
1. Are the lug nuts still 2 pieces? On the 2013 they were and over time, they swelled to the point a standard socket would not fit them. I had to hammer the soft metal wrench which is included on the spare kit in order for it to fit the lug nuts. Luckily when I got a flat, there were some rocks around.
2. The removable rear storage cover/Load Floor (Don't know the actual name) appears to be made out of cheap material. I can see this cracking if any sort of real weight were to be placed on it. In the 2013, the rear area was a thing particle material which was prone to cracking as well.
Thoughts?
