I don't figure it'll hurt anything, but I wanted to ask here first.
I picked up the "1" rate bars to replace my "B" rate bars in preparation for my lift.
When I went to get my rear differential cover power coated, the shop said that for the minimum rate ($80), I could get more than just the diff cover done. The bars, from the factory, are painted black, and the brand new bars are already flaking/chipping the paint.
Since they're going to be far more exposed with the lift than they are now, I figured I'd have these powder coated along with the cover.
I just wanted to make sure that I'm not going to have any issues fitting the new bars in once they've been powder coated.
I figured the coat thickness would be a negligible increase in size over the paint that's on there, but it never hurts to make double sure...
Many thanks!
