I was really leaning towards the Cardone, as when I looked on line at the websites, it seemed they were a bit more thorough in the reman. Atsco, stated things were inspected and changed "if necessary" kinda seems to defeat the purpose. Does anyone think that rebuilding the pump I have is a better option?
The other thing is I saw that some people seem to think companies just throw on some paint and say it is reman...where the Atsco seemed to not be painted and didn't "hide" anything.
Any ideas?
I think however I might first try to clean mine up and get new hoses and seals...flush and fill with synthetic fluid and vacuum bleed. Maybe it is just air bound...because the noise seems to be louder upon start up and no loss of steering function, however there is a leak and I have had to replace fluid.
Does anyone think that is a good first step?
