I had just taken my power regulator apart, cleaned, polished armature, brushes, oiled felt seal. regreased and installed 3 new replacement bushings. I cleaned, greased and aligned all the channels, guides and fuzzy strips for the window and mechanism. I bolted it all back together and the window works perfectly, running up and down like a monkey with his tail on fire.
It wasn't long before the power motor was jumping at the top and bottom of operation. I took the motor apart again. (I'm getting good at this, does anyone else want me to repair their motor? :D)
Anyway, the picture shows the buttons didn't want to stay round. They behave like they are jelly beans instead of bushings/buttons. Did I do too good a job and the buttons can't take the torque?
OH, CRACKERS I can't get the pic to work. Here is the link

Those bushings look bad, just like the ones I removed when my window motor seized. did you check the bolt torque when you installed it back into the door?

What bolts are you referring to? Is it the motor case bolts you are referring to?
I was wondering about the quality of the plugs when I encountered the sticky by 85Dave: Power Window Bushing Replacement with Pics.

The plugs in the photo are like a glue stick color. I guess O'Reilley's Auto Parts must have dug up some ancient stock left over from Schucks.
