I have a 1997 4 door explorer. The windows on all of the doors work from the drivers command consule, but thats the only place they work. if you go to any of the other three doors they will not power down or up.

I have a 1998 4 door explorer as well and everything window wise works on that. So I took the command consule from the drivers arm rest and plugged it into the 97 to see if the other three windows would power down from each of their respective locations (also a quick check to see if the power window lock from drivers counsel was the issue). Still could not power down the windows from any of the three seats just the drivers consule. Any ideas.

It is likely that you have a broken R/LB wire in the driver's door post. Meter is your friend, check for voltage at one of the other switches (with the key in on of course) and trace accordingly.
