Powered antenna question.

I can listen to the radio on my stock stereo, but my aftermarket stereo does not get most stations. I am assuming this has to do with the powered antenna. I have a 96 explorer with the factory amp and the "power port". I also had issues and want to bypass the factory amp so if someone could point me at a thread to fix that issue that would also be great.

Welcome. I've seen plenty of audio threads on this site. Try typing "factory amp bypass" or somthing similar into the seach tool.
