problem w/ windshield washer pump?

my washer fluid pump has not worked for over 6 months. i checked all the fuses etc.... well today i went and bought a new pump at autozone for $20.99. hooked it up, and still not working. i checked the fuses and relays, all ok. when i push the switch in i hear a click from the relay under the hood. i even tried switching relay's around. is it possible the switch on the steering column is bad? if so,its $55.99 for a new one. anything else i could try before buying a new switch? thanks.

ok,problem fixed! i checked the relays under the intake next to the washer resevoir. one of them was bad, so i took a relay im not using and replaced the bad one,then it worked fine.so i took the new pump back and got my $21.00. so just wanted to update this thread.
