I had the misfortune to pull back the signal lever the other night to flash another oncoming vehicle. When I did the hi beams came on and stayed on.
Moving the signal lever forward/backward did nothing. I shut the vehicle down and the high beams stayed on. The only way to disable them was to take out the fuse from under the hood. Now it has low beam only.
I'm thinking that when I pulled back on the lever to active the bright/pass function it stuck in that position.
I'm pretty well sure that I have a faulty multifunction switch.
Anyone else ever come across this problem with their 02 Xploder.......
