Problem with new Transmission

I have a 1992 Explorer.
I recently had the transmission rebuilt about 21/2 monthes ago because the tranny bit the dust. About a week and a half ago the transmission started acting up again by. Locking up in 3,4,5 gear in the tranny and I have give gas to get it th shift up or down. I have had the truck already go back to the transmission shop can't really figure out what is going on. They said it might be a dirty Mass Air flow sensor, which i have cleaned. I still acting up. So tomorrow or the next it's going back. I would really like sugestion to what you guys think is wrong woth the transmission, so i can give the shop a few ideas.

well there is no 5th gear in that trannie for openers.... it's a 4 speed. Modulator or governor issues come to the fore, and then valve body.... check the hose to make sure there isn't ATF in the hose at the modulator.

Doesn;t sound like the really put themselves out on this rebuild.
