I'm thinking about running 35's in the front with a torsion twist and spindle lift.. I heard that running the 35's in the front will mess up my front suspension? is that true? and how bad is 3inches of torsion Twist? I'm not worried about trimming or tire clearance because I have glass fenders too.

....and how big of tires can my 8.8 rear end take? 35's seem small...

You should be fine, just check your front bearings regularly.

one thing that i had found problem with mine is the tie rods. mine is now loose. so, that might be something to consider also... and yah.. the bearings.

cool.. i've heard my 8.8 can hold up to 38's?

Do you still plan to jump your truck with 35's? That is certainly a recipe for disaster.

Well.. Since it'll be awhile since i get my new Long Travel IFS, I'm going to be keeping my mounty a street queen. No more Dune jumps, and No more trails! So if i keep it street for awhile, i might as well make it big till then. I'm thinking about doing a SOA in the rear and running 35's or 38's and save money later on and then when i get my Long travel, i'll go back to flying.

Sounds good. I wouldn't worry too much about the bearings. For a 2wd they're cheap, like 30 bucks compared to the 200+ for the 4x4 ones.

He said he has spindle lift, which makes it 2wd.
