Puddle Light LEDs and Extras

So I've been doing a lot of looking into LEDs for my truck.
I want to replace the puddle lights with blue bulbs or blue LEDs.
I am driving myself crazy looking for the right kind for this job. I would like to get the ones that just plug into the current socket. The bulb size is #168. What I am not sure on is the brightness. I'd like to get them brighter than the stock but I don't know how to tell which ones are brighter and which aren't.

Also, I'm going to change the lights in my dash all to blue. I'm going to need a whole lot of blue LED bulbs for this. Anyone know where I can buy a whole bunch in bulk with the resistors already attached?

You will have to look at the mcd rating of led bulbs. I think it will be tough to get them brighter then stock especially since you want them in blue. Blue just doesnt light up objects as well as a normal white yellowish bulb. You best bet would be to get an led smd board and mount it in the puddle lights. Something like this would be a good bet smd blue board I am not sure if it has the right plug for the 168 but you can always snip and splice.
