So I'm driving home from my friend's apartment when we passed a Yukon Denali off in the ditch. He must have went to turn around in a driveway that had not been plowed all winter and got stuck. This thing was a very nice vehicle...I have no idea why he would try to pull into this mess...but he did. I stopped and offered my help. So I pulled into where he had gotten stuck (just to rub it in a little bit) and turned around, busted out my new tow strap and pulled him out. I don't know how much those Denali's weigh but I was smoking my tires in 4-low to get this guy out! We then shook hands and went our separate ways.

This is why you carry a dig camera with you at all times, not because it would have made good pics, but it would have humiliated that poor chevy driver even more .

Thats why I keep my Logitec with me at all times!!

Good job though, helping someone in need is always a good thing!

If you are smoking all 4 tires it isnt really worth it to get him out because if you blow your hubs or something then he isnt going to pay for it. my opinion atleast, but nice work anyways.

Well nothing broke....this time....and next time I'll have a camera. My theory is that if it breaks then it needs to be built stronger the next time around :D

(edit: maybe it was only two tires since i have open diffs)

Heh, my father has a Yukon XL Denali (black). This thing is a f*n monster, I'm telling you. It weighs a few X's together at least. When I drove it, I know I at least had to brake well before the line.. compared to 40 feet with the X... *really* heavy...

Nice to see an X overcome those tankers :)

i agree with arnie, Breakage is an excuse to get bigger and better!
(i.e Warn manual hubs vs. ford auto-breaking hubs)

I like the way you think.

I dont think I'd go as far as letting my tires start smokin to get someone out. I'm too big a a p#$*y to let it go that far - I'd definetly be too scared to break something

Good Job!

My theory is the same as most of yours. If something breaks, I upgrade it. :D

My tires start smoking I would tell the guy to just call a tow truck...if he can buy or lease of of those then he can pay a few hundred and maybe learn his leason for the next time...lol

Not worth causing damage to your truck...If nothing else keep a few receipts in the glove box so if you go to help someone you can write down their info and then have them sign it saying they will fix your vehical should something break while your helping them get unstuck....LOL

It's good to give your truck a work-out every once in a while. Gotta keep it in shape.

lol.....they're doing great!

Way to show up that Chevy "piece". They deserve it.
