Not at all! The Rinny's torque converter disengages at around 7mph which causes you to freewheel downhill with only those drums and a single disk to hold you back, and as you know rear brakes on a steep downhill can get rather squirley.
Which Prairie do you have? My 650 has the best engine braking of any four wheeler I've ever ridden, on a steep downhill the KEBC will actually lock the rear end up and cause it to slide unless I give it some fuel.
