Get the quad. Can't bet them I have two. It all depends if you have anywhere to ride. Used to have a 88 banshee that I raced that was all decked out. About 10,000 in it but I traded on a 2001 Raptor. Also have a 2001 Rancer 4x4 ES. Love the 4-strokes. Don't think I would ever go back to a 2-stroke unless a deal came around that I could not pass up. Just my 2 cents.

"...you want a more aggressive daily driver or you just want to blend in with the soccer moms."

So.....do ya wanna lift it or be a soccer mom????
Haha, LMAO, good one Alec! :D

i have a dirtbike and a lifted x. today it was about 20degrees so i took out my truck 4 wheelin. The cops do nothing but impound bikes out here. so i got tags, insurance, and registration.. Just so i could ride legit.
keep that in mind. it's hard to register a quad. but it is possible my roommate did it(registration and insurance)

dude honda quads suck, get the lift, then later get a dirtbike or something....not a quad. you seem to like speed. only good quad is a banshee
Apparently you have been out of ATV's for a while. Banshee's are out. Way slow by today's new standards. Yamaha needs to send that tired ass Banshee to the crusher and come out with a new Banshee 600+.

It all depends on your state and Ins. company. Most will ensure you for crash damage in case you make payments.

It all comes down to what you really think you will actually use. I have 3 ATV's and love to ride them whenever I can. All of mine are Kawasaki 4x4's. Honda makes a good ATV, only bad part to them is the brakes. Drums all around that go out too easily when you play in the mud. Kawasaki would be next. The Raptor is a nice quad but no where near what it should be, I mean its a 660 and isn't even as fast as a KD 100 dirtbike.

If you have a place to ride...get the quad.

Honda

The Honda Rancher 4x4 is a great mid size quad exept for the 4x4 system. It is like AWD, there is no 4x4 button or lever, so if you get it stuck your done. I am getting the Yamaha Kodiak 450 4x4. It has nice ground clearence and has 429cc motor and a great locking front diff. when in 4WD. It's a bit pricey at $5199.00 new.

I agree, for a 660 it should be a whole lot more than it is.

I've never liked the designs on most of the Yamaha's. They seem to be underpowered...especially considering the size engines the boast. And all of them that I have riden feel like they have a really high center of gravity that makes them feel top heavy.

im not getting the quad, turns out the reason he wants to sell it so cheap is because the axle is bent

its a ricer quad get the 33s

that's the most ignorant thing ive ever heard, just because its a Honda

Axles aren't all that much, but the rest of it is prob. beat also.

Get the lift. Honda hasn't made a good quad since the late 80's. :D

Did you actually say that?
Their new Rubicon is one of, if not the best atv out there right now.

Chris

Have you gotten a god look at the new Honda Rincon? I think thats the one with the new automatic transmission thats suppose to be like a cars.

Rincon

One of the guys I ride with has a Rinny, its a plush quad and kinda quick but definately not all that. The Rincon still features front drum brakes and no locker, plus its still just a big single like the Griz (lacks the umph of a V-Twin).

I don't know alot about them. I just looked at one at the dealer. What I liked about them was the new type of auto tranny. It had the one like a cars where you can shift it down into 1st to keep it in that gear. That would be a huge Plus over the auto in my Prarie for going down hills and such.

My buddy has a Rubicon quad.. done a few motor mods, but he beats the piss outta the thing, and it keeps going! I've had it on some real light trails, and it's alot of fun! If I were to get a 4x4 quad, that'd probly be what I get...
