Question about gen 1 purple exterior color choices

This is gonna be a very odd request, but were there multiple purple colors for the gen 1 explorer? My grandparents owned a gen 1, and even though it's been about two decades since I've seen the car, I vaguely recall it being a plum like color. I've been doing some Internet search's, as as best as I can tell, that was a color called purple haze. But if there are other purples ford offered, unlikely by I want to check, I'll look into those as well.

As for why, my grandfather passed away last night. While we sadly weren't as close as I would have liked, he was a major influence on my love for the Ford explorer. So as a tribute to him, I want to wrap our 2017 explorer in a color that was very similar to his gen 1. Keeping his memory, and the memory of the car alive through us. I just want the color of the wrap to be as close to the original color as possible.

i have a brochure for a 94 and it says on XL-XLT there were 2 blues- dark & brilliant blue

on an EB it says jusr dark was offered.

i see no mention if purple at least in 94 brochure?

Perrys 94 was a more vivid plum crazy purple color.

color codes are either ER or GA according to this site - 1994 Ford Explorer Touch Up Paint - for Explorer Paint Repairs - PaintScratch.com when I think of purple 1st Gens Perry's also comes to mind (his was custom painted though) but I also recall it mostly being a color choice for the Limited package and not many of the XL/XLT/EB.
