Ok, you can laugh if you want... I almost did my self, so I'm going to ask this question anyways. Is there any way to get a 2011 Ford Explorer Instrument cluster and put it in a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT?

Any information will be appreciated...

Sincerely,

Mike K.

No.

Do you know where I could get either some custom or nice after market instrument clusters? Thanks for the quick reply...

Your only real options are gauge overlays (eBay), a Mounty cluster (eBay or here), or fabbing your own panel and sticking some aftermarket gauges in it...

Mounting is the easy part....Working is a total different story. Remember major technology advances from 2002-2011, changes in programming, warnings, layout, design etc....

Don't get me wrong I hope you can prove us wrong but short of electrical engineering degree, and some computer programming experience pretty much a lost cause.

If you purchase a 2011 Explorer, the dealer will probably make sure that a 2011 programmed instrument cluster will come with it....probably at no extra charge...… Sorry, couldn't resist.!!
