question for first gens

i need to know what wire is the stock temp gauge. all you would have to do for me is trace the wire to the firewall and tell me where it goes in and what color it is. whoever does this is going to get a huge

Allright there are two coolant temp sensors, as you know. One is for the PCM one os for the gage.

the wire that goes directly to the instrument cluster for the coolant temp gage is red/white

Now be careful there are two red/white wires, on is used for the electric shift module (4x4) hahahaha been there done that.........

i guess i will go out and play with that now, and see if i cant hook it up for now, untill i pick up another mechanical gauge
