question on rim size

i am getting some 38 15.50 15 and was wondering if i could fit a 15x10 rim on or will i have to get a 15x12 rim.
thanks for the advice

A 15X10 would fit, but in the front you may have to get steer stops. But the 15x12 would fit in back but prob. not in the front
 






The 38x15.50s fit just fine on a 15x10 rim. I installed a set of those on my Father-in-laws Bronco II with a Dana 44.

one last question
so if i want a wider look i would go with a 15x12. is this thinking correct.
 






Yes, it will be wider, however, remember they will stick out 2" farther from your fenders and will have fitment issues with the fender when steering. And that much more leverage on your bearings.
