question on sport body styling

i drive an '02 sport. i realized recently that i've never seen a 4-door with that particular body style (with the more pronounced hood and grille area). was this styling particular to the 3rd gen. sports?

yes, that front end is on the sport and the sport trac -- nothing else had it
