Ok well I was planning on getting a 3" Body Lift and doing the TT to fit 33's.... but now I was talkin to "sk1er" and he says I should swap the leafs with the 4-door leafs....which will cost me an extra $100 or so....

well my question is...can I do the TT/Shackles....then the 3" Body Lift... and fit the 33's....and then later down the line do the 4-door leaf packs (in that order)....

Im trying to save as much money as possible so if you guys have any other suggestions...lemme know :) .... my main goal is to fit 33s.....

Yes you can switch to 4 door leaves down the road after you do shackles. The shackles will work w/ either the mono leaf or 4 doors.

With the monoleaf in the rear, the first, #1, numero uno thing you should do is put some 4-door leaf packs in the rear. Before the TT, before the AAL, put a real leaf pack back there.

Look around on www.car-part.com , www.ebay.com , and call some of your local junkyards. +/- $100 seems to be the going rate for 4door packs around here, but there are MUCH better deals out there! I can go to my local PNP yard here and pull any number of Explorer leaf packs for $26/pair.

so it won't cause any damage correct?...and even if it flatens out the current leafs...ill be replacing them with the 4 door leafs anyway right?

you should get teh 4 door leaves first... but installing shackles wont do anything bad if you jsut want them right now....

well I just want to get the whole lift and tires done first....and then I can finish off the leafs later (parents will be payin for most of the lift....ill have to pay for the leafs)

honestly i am with robb on this... its jsut kinda not wise to add a lift to it with inferior rear springs.. the stupid monoleaf barely does its job with the regular sprt, and once htere is a lifti nvolved then it really sucks.... jsut pony up the $30 and buy the 4 door leafs, even @ $100 its not too much to save up for... and its best to do it right the first time.. plus the 4 door leaves should provide a little bit of lift, and will later allow an add a leaf if you need it... you can even retain the factory shcakles, or add the warriors to that

hmm aright....so basically the 4dr leafs just prevent the rear sag?

sorry for all the questions...and thanks for all the answers :D
