I have seen a lot of TJ quick disconects for the front sway bar on craigslist and was wondering if I could use those for my ex to let it get a lil more flex out of it once I put my lift on? I will hopefully have my lift on this week if I can find some help to install it.:salute:

you can make your own for like 10 bux with clevis pins washers and pull pins.

Ok i realize this is the back of my 98 but you get the idea

RED= 2 pull pins (same size as the hole in the clevis pin)
GREEN= 2 7/16’’ x 2 1/2’’ ajustable clevis pins
BLUE= 8 7/16’’ washers

thats funny, i just seen those last nite on 4wheelparts and looked them up for my ranger and they came back as a jeep part number and i forget the cost, but i like your idea better...

You might take one of the bolts out of the front sway bar and take it with you. Because i dont know the size of the front of the 1st gen is the same.

heres a pic of the clevis pin

I don't see why it isn't safe. I am going to do it with the front and back of mine so I can get as much travel as I can when Im out wheeling. I kept getting my rear up in the air while I was out last. I can't wait to go out after I get my lift on. I am going to put on my rear leafs tomorrow night.:eek: :D
