Quick flush question

I am going to take the VB out to check for contaminants and want to flush the trans as well.Which line do I take off to run into a bucket??Lower or upper line??

The lower line is the outlet going into the cooler, and the upper line is the return from the cooler. There is a diagram of this on page 35 in the A4LD ATSG rebuild manual.

Ok so the upper line comes out of the radiator and goes to the front mounted cooler and from there back to the trans??

No, the lower one goes to the cooler, and the upper one gets it back.
