ok so i just got myself an 03 explorer...got it home at 3pm today and i love it...got a great deal. anyway i wanna get some hid's in the lows and fogs. this is my first ford, im coming from a bmw so its definitly a bit different....from the quick few hours of research ive done on here(this site is a saviour) it seems like the lows will use a 9006 kit and the fogs will take an h-10 kit? i did hid's in my last car so im familiar with installation but i read alot on here about adding in an extra wiring harness....is this necessary too? will any 9006 hid harness from ebay do the trick? for the fogs, will i need any adaptor harness or will they too be plug and play.
i can already tell these hid questions are beating a dead horse but honestly theres SO MUCH info on here its taking me forever to find any straight up answers...i used the search function but i figured this is why you guys have a lighting forum in the first place.
