Are you thinking about a certain sub or amp? As ford freak said, you are best to use a mono amp for subs. No matter how many or what size you run. Although it may be cheaper or easier to find a 2 chn that is the still a good fit.

Very good point. I guess I was thinking in a very general sense. With a budget and the subs that you have, I'm sure we could come up with a pretty good amp that will fit your needs.
