qusetions about some coil springs

1991 4.0 4x4 with 31s
i found some springs from tuff country for a 4in lift...now my explorer sits stock height can i put those 4in coil springs in my truck an it raise my front 4in and just put some blocks in the back...tryin to find a cheap way to lift without having th tear everything apart...im also lookin for a body lift new or used if any ones got one cheap

Well for the rear you can get about 5-5.5 inches of lift by converting to Spring Over Axle instead of the springs being under the axles stock.

If you go and look in the lifted section you'll find all the answers to your question, and also questions you hadn't given any thought to yet.
 






ok thanks for the info i will check that section out..but still can i put bigger springs in the front with out having to change any thing besides new springs
 












r u talkin about the coil spring spacers the ones u twist in if so i already have them in they suck the make ur tire bow in an wear twice as fast im taking them out...but i can put 2in coil springs in an it will raise my front end 2in

is this a 2wd or 4wd truck?

2" coils up front will require camber alignment shims and an alignment
4" coil would require drop brackets

block in the back will lower your truck
shackles will raise it 1/5"
