After arriving home one day this week, I went back out to find a large puddle of fluid under my Ex' . After three days of trying to determine it's origin (it didn't leak all of the time) I finally found that it was coming from around the radiator cap. I'm wondering if the radiator cap can lose its sealing capabilities?

Yes it can. The rubber gasket can go bad and cause the cap to leak under pressure.

Yep. I had to replace mine about 6 months ago.

Thanks Guys. I love easy fixes like this one. When I first saw the fluid, I couldnt figure out where it was coming from or what it was. It had blown all over the engine compartment and even in the wheel well. And then it didn't do it again for anothe 2 days. At first, I thought there was a hole in the lower radiator hose. Thanks again.
