There has not been a lot of talk about this subject. Ive done a few searches and not much has come up. I talked to Perry from Perrys Fab & Fiber and he said that he always puts like a 1/2" or 1" spacer between the radius arm and the bracket to get more wheel clearence. I have '94 ford Ex 4x4 on 33x12.5 on an 15x8 rim. I have 3in body lift and 2in coil spacers and shackels on the back. In the front it rubs on the lip of the door under flex. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix it or on the radius arm spacers please reply. And if you have them how are they working for you.
Thanks for any help,
Steve Poway, Ca

I think he was saying putting a spacer in with the radius arm bushing, these moving the axle forward for clearance.

Sure you can. this willpush the TTB beam forward slightly, moving the tire away from the fender. there is enough adjustment in the upper camber shim/tie rods to bring the alignment back into phase.
Dont go too much or you will put strain on the axle pivot bushings and brackets and also the front d shaft.

Or you could just get Fiberglass fenders and kiss all your clearance problems goodbye

I have the glass and it still rubs on the lip thats behind the fender when its under flex. Sorry i made it so confusing i was not sure how to explain it. But yes thats what im talking about... would any one know where i could get a spacer like this. Does any one have them on there truck.

THE SPACER, actually you want to double up or triple up on the stock radius arm washer, you know the dish shaped one thet holds the forwardmost bushing in place., stack 2-3 of these suckers, you can even weld them together if you want. Just make sure you still have enough threads on the back for the nut.......
