I read somewhere Ford doesn't recommend applying RainX on the windshield of the new Ex. Anyone see this or have any problems with RainX ?

I use it on my sport and do not see an issue. I have not seen the warning from Ford though.

The warning is in the manual - just said they dont recommend it. I use rainex also on my Limited and no issues. Ive used it for about 12 years on my Trailblazer and the last 3 months on my Lim and havent experienced anything abnormal yet.

Rain X

I have been using RainX for many years now and I have not seen any issues. It is awesome in the winter time. I have used it with regular wipers and automatic wipers and no issues.

guess we missed the warning
We too use it - even on the master baths walk in shower glass !!!

OEM's don't recommend anything like Rain-X due to liability lawsuits. I have been using the stuff for over 20 years.

It's fine. I don't have rain x but I have crystal fusion which is a fancy rain x and its been fine after 6 months.

I use Rain-X on my 11 with great success. I've used it for years on many vehicles.

We use the rain x washer fluid, adds the film every time I wash the windshield. Never a problem.
