Everytime it rains my engine loses power and begins to like kick back and forth some. The rpms go really high as well. I've researched it some and heard it was due to the spark plug arching...is this true??.....and how can I fix it? thanks

weird, if anything I think power would increase due to cooler air.. thats why some people use misters in high hp cars. Sorry cant help ya

Usually that's a sign either your spark plug wires need to be replaced, or you have a fine crack in the coil pack that acts up when moisture gets into it.

What he said. Moisture affects the ignition system more than anything else.

What they said. Faulty wires get worse with moisture. Change the wires and plugs. It's easiest to do them thru the wheel wells.
