Has anybody found the Rancho 5000 shocks extremely harsh in cold weather? It seems that they create a bottoming effect soound until they are warmed up.

Thank you for your efforts in advance

No problems with mine..But it hasn't got below 35 this year.

MDRUT ....

What lift kit did you go with, and what tires are you runnin'? Thanks

Performance Products 2", 29's on factory rims..The only thing I didn't like about the kit was the bumber fit..Instead of useing the flimsy brackets, I mount my bumber back to the frame and went to the local aircondioning supply house and got some 4" black rubber door sweep to fill the gap..It's flexable and tough.. withstands hiway speeds..cost about$15 for 8 ft. roll.

mdrut,
How do you like those fosgate speakers? I'm considering getting 4 6x9's to fit the stock wells. How do you think they will sound with an amp and factory head unit? Where did you set your amp?

jeff

I'm really happy with the speakers. It should sound good with the factory head unit, but change the factory amp.I installed the speakers first and within a week, burned out the factory amp..The amp I have now is alittle to much, but at the time I planned on adding subs, with these speakers,I really don't need any..Ordered speakers and amp from Crutchfield, don't remember where I got the headunit and diskplayer from, bought it several years ago as a package deal,REX, CurcuitCity, some place like that..
