Does anyone have a link for some heavy duty front shocks. I'm putting a plow on my 2000 Ranger. Just to plow my driveway. I won't really be driving on the road with the plow. Unless it's into town to get gas.

Bilstein, Rancho, or KYB Monomax. The part # will vary depending on whether it's RWD (shock uses full length tube) OR 4WD (shock uses shorter tube to clear cv axle).

"Heavy Duty" category on Rock Auto:

The Bilstein or KYB will probably help keep the blade planted more due to being monotubes but I'd expect the difference to be slight.

Good suggestions above. Also important to check rubber bump stop clearance that will limit down travel if bottomed out.
