RAP Module question

Hey everyone, this is my first thread and wont be my last. I have a question about changing the RAP Module, my ex girlfriend knows the permant factory code for the keypad and i want to change it. I know i have to change the RAP Module in the back, and i also have to change the keyless remote codes. My question is how do i change the remote codes, and is there anything else i have to do.

Changing the keyless code

While it is true that in order to change the factory code you must change the module, it may be possible to inut your own code by following a certain routine that should be spelled out in the owners manual. The factory code will still be retained but you will also have your own code that will also open te door.

You have to change out the RAP modules and re-program the remotes to accept the new module.. If I remember right you have to turn the cycle in ignition 8 times and leave it in the on position and press a button on the remotes and then turn the ignition off.

while we're on the subject... is there anyway to use a factory fob witht he extra trunk button to actuate an extra thing (like if I replaced my module with one from a truck witht he side code and the trunk button, I want to automate the rear gate)
