whenever i start up my engine in the cold i get this rattling i think it is the timing chains it is not the lifters. i had the recalls performed
i am currently running mobil 1 5w-30 and a motocraft filter.
the noise is there when i leave for school but is no longer there when i get there.
i know that the sohc is just a noisy engine but is this something to be worried about or should i try a 10w-30
