Rattle on my driverside door 01 sport

and once and a while my window will go down but i cant get it back up. are these problems related??? HELP???

If the door is rattling and the window won't go back up there is the possibility that whatever is rattling is either a piece of the window motor that falls in/out of place when it is jarred or the rattling piece is blocking the window from coming up again. Just speculation though.
