Wanted rear axle shafts..........

I'm trying to track down if you can order or buy axle shafts to fit our 8.8 rear axles with a 5 lug on 5.5" centers or 5" centers.

I have a Dana 44 front axle and I didn't want to change the rear axle.

the Dana 44 has bronco rotors on it, which I believe is 5 on 5"

so can I get rear axles shaft to match this pattern and save some work on my truck?

Moser Engineering and Dutchman Axles offer 5 lug on 5-1/2 " bolt pattern along with new axle shafts. Dutchman Axles will run about $240, Moser $295. The stock 8.8 axle fangles are just barely too short to be drilled out to the new bolt pattern.

I was thinking about wheel adapters/spacers Turdle, but I really don't want to push the rear wheels out more then the off set of my rims.

I haven't been able to find a wheel adapter that is not at least 1" thick. I know why they have to be so thick.
but it adds more width than I want.

go figure! I don't want to be too wide. LOL

Superior makes a 5 on 5.5" chromoly 4340 for your 8.8.
