I have a 91 XLT with the rear bench seat, I want to put the same set up in front in the bad the 2 bucket seats and the console, once all that is acquired how would I mount the seats and console, etc? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Sick idea! All I could tell you is that there was a pic of some show car explorer from cali in a magazine. Someone post the pic out of the magazine. It had 4 Recaro racing seats in. Here's an idea though if your going to put stock seats in the back I would go for the Captain Chairs out of an Expedition in the rear. You won't need the console if you were thinking about using it just for an armrest. Then again it may look a little empty without anything between the seats. Now that I think about it. Try getting the tracks and just bolt them into the floor. You may run into a problem though b/c if memory serves me right there is a slight incline on my 95 underneath the rear bench before it gets to the rear cargo area.

I have a pic of a show explorer with the rear bucket conversion, same as front. i'd try swapping seats from an expedition or something but I have the red interior and it's hard to find stuff :) I hope it would be somewhat simple like just bolting the same tracks and everything. Hopefully i'll get a little more replies :)

I saw that picture, I must say I do not care for the racing seat look.. but the idea of having 4 captains chairs and a rear console for passengers adds alittle drool to the idea heh
