98 xlt doesnt have that long bracket bar in the back that my bench seats were bolted to. mine were bolted to the floor

That long black angled bracket is what was made NOT a factory piece.

I wish. The power track adds about 5" of height to the seats. The backs would be at the ceiling.

so from what I saw in the pics & what you described is that the seats have NO movement front to back? Can a manual track system be installed? It also looks as if they cant recline very much at all before hitting rear inner fender wells.
