Rear Diff Guards

rock ring for 8.8 might work the best..... look at the counter sunk bolts.

The rock ring is a ¾” thick ring of steel that completely covers the lip around the differential cover. It incorporates a ¼” center skid plate to protect the center section of the cover while remaining low-profile to clear rocks and vehicle components

If I got the avalanche one, I'd definately add more protection on the bottom... What if ya drop off a rock and a rock edge is sticking up and clips right of the gaurd? Basket style woulda saved the cover, not the avalanche one tho
I want full lower coverage

Yea, I found out how important rear coverage is the last time I was going through the creek at Attica. My back end slid off a rock and my diffy hit the edge. After seeing how big a chunck the diff guard took out of the rock, I would have dented if not busted open the diffy with out the guard there. Well worth the $80.

The Avalanche one won't work with mine because my cover uses countersunk bolts. It would not be able to seal correctly because of the countersunk bolt mounting surface. The only way it would work is if my countersunk bolts were threaded for more bolts ;)

Hey Cory, did you ever decide to go ahead with making an axel truss like the one that 4 wheel parts sells....if soo send me pics cause I want one.
