So I have a 2004 V6 XLT with about 92k on it. Its making the rear end howl that is consistent with what I have searched to be bad rear wheel bearings as I replaced the front. My question is while driving to work I have to go over a bridge, the noise stops. If I move the wheel slightly to change lanes the noise stops, and last I feel a slight pulsation in the gas pedal. Could it possible be the tires? I have all weather coopers on there and I have heard the road noise is horrible. I have a slight rattle from my exhaust right now, so wondering if that could be it as well. Thank you all in advance.

Hey
Get the rear off the ground and spin those wheels. A bad bearing making that much noise will be obvious. When you replace the bearing use Timken bearings.
I've come to know and use them as excellent quality bearings. They are NOT made in China. If you have other problems besides the bearing you can sort them later. I've done all the bearings on my 03' Explorer

Check the coil springs to see if they are broken
