Rear glass rams

The screw's that go through the tailgate glass at the ends of the rams - do they unscrew normally (i.e. anti-clockwise)??

Been trying to get ine undone so the rams can be refitted and I just can't budge them - been soaked in 3-in-1 oil and Plus gas - but to no effect.
So before I REALLY start applying pressure I want to make sure they're not something odd like a L/H thread.....

didn't have any problems when I replaced mine, and certainly don't remember them being left hand. My memories not what it used to be though
