I've had an engine shake since I got the truck. It's got 220k on it. I replaced all the ignition components (plugs, wires, coils) all motor craft. New IAC, TPS, MAF, DPFE. My EGR tube looks super crusty and I broke a bolt off in my exhaust manifold trying to tighten it. Where should I look next to fix the shake?

Also, sometimes oil drips down onto my front cat from the bell housing and stinks. Is this the rear main seal leaking? It doesn't look like the leak is major but all it takes is a couple drops.

I'm kind a noob and would appreciate any advice! I love this old truck, just wanna make sure it will see 300k.

Contribution test. Carefully remove an ignition wire (at the coil is the most gentle on the wire) and see if the shaking changes. If it gets worse, it’s not that cylinder. If it stays the same, it’s that cylinder. Then we can go from there.

If no particular wire makes it worse, then it is likely either a random misfire, or something systemic.

Check your motor mounts. The bolts from the mount plates to the block often rust and break off.

Got any live data? Fuel trims and such? Codes?

Check your harmonic balancer.

No codes. Trims are perfect... LT is -1.5 and -.8.
Upstream o2 sensors seems to be oscillating correctly, one of the downstreams seems to always be lean.

I'll check the ignition again but all that stuff is brand new.

I can't seem to find the motor mounts but I'll do some research.
