rear shocks 05 ST XLT

Ok, I'm at my wits end, 2 hours later and I just cant seem to get the rear shocks installed.

I dropped the spare, the old one came out easy as pie.

Now I'm trying to install new Sensa-Tracs and maybe I'm totally weak or they are way stiff, but I can't seem to compress them enough to get the bottom bolt in.

Any hints or tips?

i put a jack under my hitch and didnt totally lift the car just pumped it a few times to extend the leaf springs

it must have been a late night... I should have thought of that. Once I did it, shocks went in smooth.

God what an improvement. Monroe Reflex in the front, Monroe Sensa-Tracs in the back.
