rear window question

Will the rear window from a 99 explorer fit in my 97? I know the tail light is different but not sure about the window

Did you measure it? Did you check the mounts? A little homework might give you your answer.

The donor car is an hour and a half away but I will see if there is one near by

Call up any wrecking yard. They have an interchange that will tell you if they work or not

I don't think it will fit. the windows are different. I think I recall that you swap the entire lift-gate, but you need to change the tail lights and there will be wiring changes necessary (eg: for the tag lights).

I am thinking it won't fit. A search on car-part.com showed 103 pages for a 1997 Rear Door Glass privacy. If you arranged them by year, there was only four choices that were 98+.
